If you want to register the death of a British citizen who died in Bosnia and Herzegovina you may do so at the British Embassy Consular Section in Sarajevo.

For this purpose you will need following documents:

• Application form (available at the Consulate)
• Original local Death Certificate
• Deceased person’s passport (for cancellation)
• Consular registration fee 225BAM (£98) payable only in local currency
• If you require a copy of the registration entry there is additional fee of 145BAM (£63)
